Bill always dreamed of owning a Dodge Airflow tanker from 1940 - the same year he was born. The pride and joy of Bill himself, Tex sits in pride of place at the entrance of our collection
The story of Tex
Tex is thought to be the only working tanker of its kind left in the world. He is one of just three of its kind that have been restored to their former glory. Bill bought the tanker to New Zealand from the American Midwest. Once here, Tex underwent a miraculous renovation.
