With their smooth sounds and quirky lights brightly shinning, visitors will not be disappointed with the brand-new, Retro Jukebox Collection in Bill’s Shed next month.
On display for 14 days only, this impressive collection of retro jukeboxes dating from 1935-1972 is not to be missed.
The collection was purchased by Transport World from Kevin Cotton and made its way South from Taupo earlier this year. Visitors can expect to see a great variety of Wurlitzer machines plus AMIs (Automatic Musical Instrument) and a rare German Tonomat Automaten, all in their original condition.
Since the exhibit coincides with Invercargill’s hosting of the 2019 Rock’n’Roll Junior Nationals – visitor dress-ups and dance displays are encouraged but not compulsory!
The Retro Jukebox Collection will be on display in Bill’s Shed from 10-24 April 2019 and admission is included in all Bill Richardson Transport World tickets.
