1937 Ford 79 Truck
This 1937 Ford 79 is rather sentimental.
- It is an exact replica of the first Ford ever owned by the Richardson family – and our model was given a spectacular renovation in the family business’ signature red hue after Bill bought it
- The Richardson family’s original truck was bought from the New Zealand Army in 1944, and was used until 1952
- After emigrating from Scotland, the Richardson family settled in the small Southland town of Wyndham, where they began the first of several successful business ventures. Be sure to explore the extensive recollection of this entrepreneurial family’s history during your visit to Bill Richardson Transport World
