Pork Pie Exhibit
It's a cult classic - Pork Pie put Invercargill on the big screen, and our Pork Pie exhibit celebrates the iconic Kiwi film (and it's modern remake).
The story goes something like this: when the team behind the 2017 Pork Pie remake asked HWR directors Joc and Scott O'Donnell to help with the film's transport needs, the deal came with a sweetener - they'd offer up one of the vehicles used in filming the movie.
There was just one catch.
They couldn't promise the condition the car would be in when it arrived at the museum: especially after that iconic car chase.
Visit Bill Richardson Transport World and you'll see authentic memorabilia from the Pork Pie movie, including that car.
Unleash your inner movie star and climb aboard our Pork Pie mini, painted that magical shade of yellow, for a photo opportunity you'll never forget.
“The best museum we've visited. Be prepared to spend a couple of hours or more here…The original Mini from the original Pork Pie movie is there for you to sit in.”br0ad0aks , 2019
