Transport World among Southland Business Excellence Awards 2021 finalists

Transport World is humbled to be among the finalists in the Southland Chamber of Commerce's Southland Business Excellence Awards 2021.

Our tourism hub here in the city of Invercargill – comprised of Bill Richardson Transport World (the largest private automotive museum of its type in the world), Classic Motorcycle Mecca (the leading classic motorcycle museum in the Southern Hemisphere), Dig This Invercargill (New Zealand’s only heavy machinery playground), The Lodges at Transport World (the only Gold Qualmark-accredited accommodation provider in Invercargill) and TW Events & Incentives (which oversees events at two spectacular venues within the city) – has been selected as a finalist in The Southland Times’ Consumer Award category.

Transport World executive director Joc O’Donnell says the whole Transport World team is thrilled to have been chosen as a finalist alongside some fantastic local businesses.

“I’m so proud of our entire team’s efforts. Each and every team member’s contribution to Transport World goes a long way in creating a wonderful visitor experience for our guests and this is recognition of the hard work everybody puts into their role within our organisation,” she says.

Joc is also among the finalists in the Business Personality of the Year award.
