The Lodges at Transport World city’s only Gold Qualmark-rated accommodation

Michelin Stars, Pulitzer Prizes, and Nobel Peace Awards … Some honours speak for themselves.
The Qualmark Awards are handed out by Tourism New Zealand in recognition of the finest in the country’s tourism industry: and The Lodges at Transport World is thrilled to announce it now has a Gold Qualmark ranking.
Opened in 2017, the boutique apartments in Invercargill are the city’s only accommodation provider to have received this prestigious award.
Qualmark says “a Gold Award recognises the best sustainable tourism businesses in New Zealand, with the delivery of exceptional customer experiences an integral part of everything they do”.
The Lodges hosts Graeme and Esther Bradford say they focus on providing comfort with plenty of heart, and they are pleased that visitors 'delight in every detail'.
“We are extremely grateful to be recognised not only by our guests, but by the tourism industry, for the care and attention to detail we put into every experience at The Lodges,” they say.
The Lodges offer six boutique apartments – with a seventh in the works – full of thoughtful touches. Hungarian down bedcovers, luxurious Molton Brown toiletries, and lightly-styled theming reflective of the region means The Lodges offer accommodation with a point of difference.
All four of the Transport World experiences have now achieved Gold Qualmark status – an impressive feat, given the southern tourism hub only began in late 2015. The gold status of The Lodges, Bill Richardson Transport World, Classic Motorcycle Mecca and Dig This Invercargill solidifies the company’s reputation as providing outstanding experiences for visitors.
