Invercargill's newest events space raring to go

  • 30 August 2019

Transport World has gained a reputation for daring to be different, and its latest project is no exception.

The Handle Bar is Invercargill’s newest events offering, and guests can expect to see more of the thoughtful touches that have made venues such as Classic Motorcycle Mecca – where the space is housed – so popular.

Transport World events manager Adam Reinsfield says The Handle Bar is a versatile venue with flair.

“It’s definitely a boutique space, which takes inspiration from New York style lofts. It has a really urban, industrial vibe, and that makes it feel modern and sharp – it’s the perfect space to impress your guests but it’s also about attainable luxury,” he says.

One of the main features that sets The Handle Bar apart is – you guessed it – the bikes.

“We have one of the finest motorcycle collections in the Southern Hemisphere and it’s not everyday you get to have dinner amongst some of our hero bikes,” he says.

“It’s very atmospheric, very private, and particularly at night the venue just comes alive – it looks stunning.”

The venue can cater for up to 40 people during a seated dinner, or up to 90 people in a cocktail setting.

The Handle Bar is fully catered by MASH Catering.

“The food we serve is spectacular and the team can work with a wide variety of briefs to ensure your event is one that guests rave about months later.”
