In 1967 Bill purchased his grandfather, Robert Richardson's 1933 International D1 truck. Bill wrote 'it was perhaps inevitable I would take up truck collecting as a hobby. In 1967 I had an urge to try to find an old International truck my grandfather had owned.' He found it two blocks from his house and paid just £5.
